Gene Seymour: I started out this journey with Peter back in the late 1970s. He taught on Peter, he wrote a Spanish commentary, and then taught it over the years. And then Don Carson, Trinity invited him to write a book on the theology of Peter. It took about a year for me to say yes to that project because I knew the technical difficulties involved.
