Western civilization is already terminally ill, you could say. When its real creative impetus ceases to be there then it will be extremely difficult to hold up teour degree of technology. And so tiststis entire technology will first start to stagnate. This whenat once, this western civilization dies from within - we just hope that it continues to function like that.
