For A Revolutionary Position on the Negro Question - Harry Haywood

Red Menace

CHAPTER

The National Question and National Liberation

The idea that dividing the working class is something we might do assumes that there is a unified working class, which isn't the case. The proletarianization of black workers did not create a unification between black and white workers in many ways it elevated white workers in relation to black workers. So any attempt to to jettison these these concerns about black liberation and indigenous liberation all for this idea of uniting the working classes is nonsense. It's founded on fallacious assumptions. Then it should be fought back and combated whenever possible.
