The Average Age of the United States Senate
The average age of the Senate at the start of this session was 64.3 years old, which is an age where in most professions you are hanging it up. When he first came there, I was the second youngest. The youngest was Joe Biden. They called Joe and myself the kids. What disturbs me though, the Senate could be considered the conscience of the nation.
