Multipart Payments - The Probability of Payments to Sit on the Lightning Network
Keen: I want to discuss some of the work you are doing on multipart payments. You wrote a paper last year, which was what i always say, a so called probablistic path finding paper. The more channels involved in a payment, the likelihood of success also falls expodentially, right? So there's this sweet spot. If you have a certain payment size to a certain amount, like, if you don't split it, your failure rite will be high. But if you split it a little bit, the failure rite decreases. And if you Split it too heavily, it increases again.
