People who are born deaf or blind can hear through their wrist. Brain is able to re purpose the area that would have been used for, say, the missing visual field and do something else with it. Wristband has vibratory motors on the inside, as sinc you were taking the inner ear and were just putting it on the skin. And so audio information's captured, goes up your arm, up your spinal into your brain.
