Demi also experienced sexual assault as a young 15 year old when her mother met a man who would go on to have this odd relationship with both Demi and her mum. He would pick her up from school and then sometimes also be in her apartment waiting for Demi when she got home. This man later told Demi that her mother had sold her to him for the price of $500.
