Chase reserve is a pretty common like travel card. You get three points on travel and dining. The chase reserve is one of the only cards that makes those points worth one and a half cents. All your travel and dining spend is worth four point five cents. If you want to think just cash back, you're getting four and a half % on travlandining and two point two five on everything else. That's better than a two % cash back card. And that's without playing the miles and points transferring booking game at all. I don't think there's like, a perfect answer for how you do that, but i think they figure out what people are willing to pay
