The Cosmic Web and Dark Matter

The mission is being sent 1.5 million kilometers from Earth in the opposite direction to the Sun. It will have a 1.2 meter telescope collecting light which will be split into visible and infrared. Using these it will study the evolution of the universe on this vast scale. The cosmic web is that sort of organization of the galaxies in the universe, and the name is given to it because it looks almost like a cobweb.
