Marxism and Orientalism

Karl Marx viewed English colonialism in India as a necessary evil. He said that it was to liberate the people of India from their patriarchal cultural roots. People like Slaboy Zizek still believe this stuff, for at least in his text, first as far as Thanos tragedy.
