Shifting social norms are inevitable and they allow ways of being human that have previously been ignored or actively suppressed to be explored and celebrated. People with alliterative names do exist in the real world We know this as do people in the same workplace or social group with the same name but it's probably not a great idea to call three characters in your book Joe or Sam.
