The 16 19 project started out as a aissue of the new york times magazine. It took over the entire issue in august of 20 19 and sold tens of thousands of copies. The project was expanded upon as a book with lots of new material that didn't fit into the original a publication. Nicol hannah jones platform is astronomical compared to anything ida b wells could have imagined. So its hard for me to overstat a what a kind of north star she has been for me.
