How to Ween Off of Neuro Sedative Infusions

I double check how long they've been on their neuro sedative infusions for. So typically if we're looking at more than five or six days, it's not something that I want to just immediately shut off. Have we given adequate time for the neuro sedatives to be worked out of the system and be appropriate metabolized? And then looking at the timing of long acting neuro sedatives like methadone quinidine that are often initiated to help ween off of the neuro Sedative infusions. Oftentimes, our kiddos have already been started on the entrol medications, but not a whole lot of weaning of their neuro sedatives has happened.
