The De-Confliction of Silk Road

In June 2013, the FBI's cyber crime division received a thumb drive containing all of the information on the Silk Road server. The files were encrypted and they couldn't access them. A de-confliction meeting was held to find out how many different agencies were involved in trying to catch the Dread Pirate Roberts. IRS agent Gary Alfred joined the New York DEA Task Force so he could follow the money. He followed everything the Dread PirateRoberts had done online before posting his own profile for public inspection.
