The Challenges of Starting an Open Source Company

I'm very curious about your experience because cloud foundry is like he says living actually in the future maybe too early where puppet. I think as an open source project is widely adopted but not widely adopted to the cloud future yet. What was the sort of biggest lessons you took away that you learned during and after that journey?
