The Proposed Regulations on Cryptocurrency Industry

New York Attorney General Leticia James of New York has proposed regulations on cryptocurrency industry. The proposals would eliminate complex of interest, increased transparency and it imposed what they're calling confidence measures to protect investors. They would require independent public audits of cryptocurrency exchanges and prevent individuals from owning the same company such as brokers and tokens that would address the conflict of interest. Crypto platforms also have responsibility to customers similar to banks under the EFTA which I know very well by requiring platforms to reimburse customers who are victims of fraud.
