Eleanor is miserable. And she calls Janet to comfort her, which I think is what she would do in that moment because it's comfort, but it's also like, It's anger. That was all that scene was. And then Steve interpreted that the way that he thought it should go and we film that scene and it's like the most famous scene in the history of the show. "I'm going to flip to the back of the book and look at the answer to you," Eleanor says on a panel with writer Greg Daniels.
