Queen Mary I is very much depicted in the old school way as Bloody Mary. The confrontation between the two sisters, the two half sisters, is a staple of Tudor drama. Lucy Worsley particularly enjoyed this scary scene when the younger Elizabeth has to stand up to her sister.
