In the last few years, we have seen more and more features that are actually looks like they are trying to reduce amount of cas calld. You can use input transformers for some surfaces, or with apsinkin aba gateway, you can use a lot of v t l, velocity language to do those mappings. It's not always a simple choice, and it depends on your context. So i think what we'd recommend as having a technology selection methodology to help your team or your organization choose a good solution depending on each context.
