Is There a Promise to the Promised Land?
There is a holiness to the holy land. There is a promise to the promised land. And there are promises that must be kept by the people who stay there, or the land itself will vomit them out. Israel itself will suffer those consequences through the scattering that we'll see later. They've just crossed the river. The river is now flowing again behind them, which has cut off any easy way of retreat. Now that we've finally entered enemis, we're t we've crossed enemy lines. We've cut off our own path of retreat. What's the first thing we're going to do? We're going to completely incapacitate our own army. A not very wise military
