The Power of Poitiers

Poitiers was in some ways a more dangerous figure than Belafonte. Both found ways to embrace elements of Black Power. For Poitiers, he got disgruntled in the sense that it cost him his stature in America by the early 70s. He moved back to the Bahamas briefly in the early 1970s.
