How to Read a Dickens Novel
I'm ashamed about how little Dickens I've read. It felt like please get everyone to stop talking in this room because I need to read my Dickens. Bleak House was just one of those magical sort of coincidings of the subject matter resonated so much with what was happening in the world. The secret is to think well no I must read him because he is wonderful and not to sort of resent it as his father homework. He really rockets along in the character of the hilarious and the jokes are still funny. And it doesn't feel like I'm doing something really worthy now I'm reading my Dickens.
