Those Rock Samples Are Hydrated Minerals
Scientists have been using rovers to collect rocks from the martian surface. Inside these rock samples, scientists found what they call hydrated minerals. Scientists studying could see that some time in the past, these rocks had been soaked by liquid water. By using this data, i guess, they were able to predict that mars once had a giant ocean.
