i think i want a start to answer the question with a fundamental, a sad, a recognition with these police shootings. And that isat there's so many things disturbing about them, and the vidios are showing them. But i think it calls upon all of us to recognize, i think, the need for radical ampathy. I would challenge people to think about what does that really mean. Ampathy is not pity or sympathy, in which you are looking down on someone and feeling sorry for them. Sympathy means getting inside their reality, getting inside their situation. Why they are doing what they are doing? What have they endured from the perspective of what they have endured?...
