Is Stretching the Same as Flexibility?

Stretching is not inherently the same thing as flexibility. You'll probably be stretching to get more flexible, but you know, different people have different inherenta levels of flexibility independent of stretching. A tension at long muscle links being something that's pretty important for muscle growth. If you're interested in growing your ham strings, and you're doing dead lifts, where you know you're going to have some non trivial amount of knee flexion going on, maybe just having great ham string flexibility won't do it.
