Some sanctions have the added effects of raising prices in our own countries. Sanctions make target societies poorer, but that isn't enough. The more we distort the global energy markets, the more prices will rise. And that's bad for us, good for Moscow. Under that scenario, there would only be one winner, and Matt, I argue, would be Russia. Thank you.
