The Dharma in a Glass Region Accent
When I came along in October 1977 to what is now with the community in the West End which at that point was about to be inaugurated as the Buddhist centre. The guys, it was all guys, the guys that were teaching spoke the same language as me. And by that I don't just mean that they were mainly glass regions but they actually came from a similar political background. So in a way I heard the Dharma in a language that worked for me and I often wonder how I would have got on if I'd been in London and gone along to the centre there.
