Urinary Potass Concentration Is Impossible to Interpret

There are no normal values, so it's very hard to interpret them in of themselves. The measurement of a urin potassium is based on how concentrated the urine is. A low urinary potassium to crating ratio means that there is no urinary wasting of potassium. If it's quite high when someone has hypochalma, you'd be quite concerned. That would be inappropriate loss of potassium.
