The Fragility of Markets
In the last decade, really equities and all asset classes have been dominated by one thing and one thing only. And that's a zero interest rate world of very low cost of capital. That's driven an environment where valuations of assets have gone up. But I think it's much more nuanced now. We've seen some really good earnings coming through across different sectors,. We're also seeing different leadership geographically as well. Europe would outperform the US and it's been doing rather better in the last year. So I think investors need to be a bit more nuanced, more diversified across regions, across sectors and factors.
