What Can Social Prescription Be Used to Treat?
i think potentially it can be used to help improve people's mental well being and physical health. The challenge has always got to be about how we're going to actually make this offer accessible, i say. I would say it needs to be out not just the g p but in all health care settings such as ambulances or farmersir clinics. And unfortunately, still in the u k, there are inconsistent messages about what social prescribing can achieve. Even within one single g p practice, you can have one professional saying, it's really good, should use it, and some one else saying i haven't even heard of it. So that's the kind of consistency i think we need - everybody
