You Think You've Got It All Locked Own?

Prophecy is a very political function. If you stand up and give a prophecy in your carasmatic church about the favorite presidential candidate or whatever,  you know you're a false prophet. It has nothing to do with whether you get your predictions right or not. It's whether you are giving what itching ears want to itching. And so it always assumes a centre of power which has grown smug and complacant and lost its way. prophets are never welcome in those places.
