Progressive revolutions always clear the ground for the machine. And what happens then is you just create void, commerce rushes and so as mary says, everything becomes commodified. The result of your grand, utopian, progressive revolution is not a fairer world. It's effectively a world that is more commodified, more individualistic and more more prey to the machine. There are some things you shouldn't, you can't get away from, but also you shouldn't want to, because they actually make you human. We're getting to the point where we've deconstructed almost everythingd there's a kind of grinning face at the bottom of it. Its not looking good.
