The Two-Week Position That Turned Into a PhD
I was looking for a PhD, but to be honest, my grades up until that point had not been that fantastic. I think I think a little bit differently than other people sometimes and so it doesn't translate very well in exam situations. When I got up into the research level side of things, I found that I could think and that I could have ideas and look at things in a way that other people didn't. It means that there's an incredible amount of focus on getting you worked on quickly and efficiently. You also get exposed to a lot of different kind of sets of skills than you would necessarily in a university. So that's essentially how I turned two weeks into a PhD hard
