Paxton's Wife, Senator Angela Paxton, Is a Former State Senator
The debate in the Senate is going to open up all of these different political questions because Paxton himself is a former state senator. And I understand his wife is a state senator. Is it known yet whether she's going to recuse herself? No, that's a huge question. Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick is who provides over the Senate in Texas. He said that he's planning to set a date by no later than the end of August.
