Are Drones a Threat to National Security?

We're rapidly moving into a new era of conflict, where the western monopoly on the use of drones is fading. 16 other nation states and non state actors have their own weaponized drone technologies. It would be no shock if every state that wants to have an armed drone system will have them. And how is the use of these drones going to be controlled? We know that as drones have moved from obama, who argueably and try to put controls on their use, into the hands of president trump,. They've been used in far more of a a less controlled and more indiscriminate fashion.
