Why Do We Need Prosecutors in America?
As of today, only about 15% of all people are in prison for drugs. John says that's because the vast majority of people in prison in the US are in state facilities. The actual homicide rate now is lower than 1970. But as crime went down in the 1990s and 2000s, the number of people being sentenced to prison time went up.
