In many states, if not all, the the business is considered an asset. In your formation documents, you want to make it really clear what kinds of transfer authorities a do partners have? It's dufly something to consider in the formation of the l c of the partnership as well. A lot of clients that come in that are getting married at a younger aged nowt norm is to at least have a conversation about it. I think prines had that stigma, and it really has decreased.
