How Do You Write in the Digital Age?

I have one rule about writing there's a rule that my editor taught me thirty years ago which is all things in good time keep it chronological. My method is to pretend I'm telling somebody a story whether it's about Leonardo and Franklin anybody else and make it a narrative story just like you tell around a dinner table. That helps me organize things because when I grew up in Louisiana I had a mentor named Walker Percy the great novelist. He said for God's sake be a storyteller the world's got too many preachers, he says.
