The Irish used to have these wonderful rites in Ireland called the banishry where every year the king or the leader of the he would he would marry the earth in it kind of a ceremonial thing. But if he didn't take care of her the land became the wasteland and that's what we have now is the wasteland. We literally have five or ten years before the whole cycle shifts the other way before the collapse, says John Muir.
