You don't want to stop diarroea too quickly, because it can make them even more sick in a different way. We've been trained to see a symptom and give a drug, whether it's over the counter or not. You have to be willing to let your life be disrupted. Some of these illnesses for kids really do take multiple weeks to gaa, to get better from.
