The Remonstrance of the Church in the World

The offskiding, as it's known in dutch. The church really became very unhealthy in the eighteenth century. It was so bad that there had to be a separation. Som churches like such as the united reformed churches in north america are descended from this 18 34 separation. So in the view of the orthodox, it was not the remonstrance who were the victims,. but it was the orthodox who suffered for the sake of christ.
