Boris Johnson's Pledges About More Homes Need to Be Built

Boris Johnson was riding high on what to 80 seats majority. People turned out with hand-wishing signs to welcome him in Yorkshire. He's allowing us to build tens of thousands of superb new homes, hundreds of thousands on brownfield sites. And that's where we got this target from this 300,000 homes a year building target. But he didn't meet it. Part of that, you can, I think, attribute to Covid. The pandemic put everything back. It's not very politically salient for a lot of conservative MPs.
