Surfering - What Did Your Dad Teach You About Surfing?

The biggest wave that I've ever paddled into is about 50 foot high. My dad's been surfing for 57 years now. He's still coming out of me, not to the very, very big stuff, but he comes out a lot to the other reefs and we surf together - it's super special. What was it like the first time you went to a bigger wave than your dad? How did he react? So I think it's pretty amazing.
