The Importance of Respect in Workplaces
I think sometimes people who are in these positions of less societal power sometimes just like keep their mouth shut because they don't want to become the problem. People have a right to ask to come to work in a place that makes them feel respected, that is a place of respect, that is not demeaning. And I think when you do have some power in your organization, by figuring out when you can be the problem, maybe it's a different situation.
