Do You Know Anything About the Coast of Coronaviruses?

The spike is the predominant barrier for these. Even some of the viruses that don't infect human cells very well, or at all, if you replace the spike, or even the receptor binding domain with from SARS-1, for example, the virus can infect cells. So I'm not sure how big the barriers are past entry, but we have not tested anything full virus. And actually, as far as we know about the distribution of this virus, it's pretty limited.
