The Struggles of Black Authors and Readers on the Velstice

Texas governor signed a bill banning diversity equity and inclusion offices at all state-funded colleges and universities. Critics of the bill worry that it promotes discrimination, will discourage diverse students from applying to those schools. More than a dozen states have introduced or passed bills severely restricting or eliminating DEI programs, including Florida. The United States Supreme Court is expected to end affirmative action in college admissions soon.
