Is China a Good Alternative to the Dollar?

dan pinkham: Could these sanctions, in the way that they reveal this incredible power that dollar hajebone accords to the us? Could that incentivize countries to move away, to break from the dollar system now that the power of the dollar system is being exploited to the hilt? Dan Pinkham: I think there aren't really that many feasible alternatives. So an alternative to the dollar, i don't think it's going to emerge very quickly. But there are going to be a whole number of smaller ways that you are serting to see opponents of the dollar base system try and evade some of these sanctions for sure.
