The Aircraft Hit the Ground in a Field
It still took nine seconds for thrust to be put to max power. The aircraft then hit the ground in a field about point eight nautical miles from the runway threshold. Thre pilots, one flight attendant and five passengers were killed in the accident. All three pilots are believed to have been on board at the time of the crash.
