There are ambiguities in Paul on that and there are passages in Paul which look quite conservative but he's basically relativizing human differences. And this women very early on are very prominent in his indeed encouraging women to come into the church. He takes them naturally as as priest deacons I haven't got the terminology right but they're part of the church. Most people think that following church tradition that Paul never made it to Spain and that he was actually martyred in Rome tradition has it that that he was martyred there as part of a neuronian persecution of 6065 AD.
