Is There a Political Stabilizing Externality to These Trends?

Chile has been a tremendous economic success story. It is now by far the richest country in south america. And when people became wealthy enough where absolute poverty was no longer a concern, they had this massive attempt at a revolution to try to destroy the system that made them rich. Even though the referendum itself was something like 62 %, 38 a for a whilete during the mass protest, it looked like the chilian government could collapse and the far left could take over. So if ther are going to be massive increases in political instability, i suspect that they are not going to be like, the whole world is on fire, but they are going to break out in countries depending on their
